Lil' Farmer turned one with
Johnny Tractor...

....Then TWO with Thomas....

...and Three with another John Deere Cake...
...And Four with a Pirate...
and for his fifth birthday - you're going to have to wait until next week to find out!
Third Girl wanted a girly rodeo party for her 7th birthday!  The ruffly layer cake on top was iced with frilly pink buttercream.  Each cupcake was topped with fondant cowgirl hats or lariats.
Malt Shop Float party!

Can't make all my cakes girly!  Spidey here had a great time at the party of a super little 4 year old!

Another girlfriend throws the most DELIGHTFUL parties for her kiddos.
This Beatrix Potter's Peter Rabbit themed party was decorated so cute!
The cake?  Mr. McGregor's garden, of course!  Complete with crushed Oreo earth and green apple laffy taffy cabbages!

What little person doesn't LOVE goldfish crackers? A girlfriend has a little person who adores them, so a goldfish cake it was, complete with a school of sugar cookie pop fishies and orange, hombre layers of luscious vanilla cake and Italian buttercream! Nothin' fishy about that!
.....and it was gooooooood!

This is the cake I made for my niece, Peanut's second birthday last summer.  She is a Mickey Mouse fanatic, so what else could this auntie possibly make for her party?  It was a great party!  The best memory from her party was when she received her very own deodorant (yeah, I know, she's only two!) and said, "FRESH!"  Love you, Peanut!

My first blog post!

I have been baking cakes for people for awhile now, and I thought, "I really should be collecting my creations somehow!" So, I guess I will use this blog to do so!  My favorite creations have to be the birthday cakes I am privileged to make for my five kiddos.  December Girl had a birthday recently, and this is the cake I made to accomodate her tween sense of style - what else could it have been, but a monogrammed, chevron cake!

Turtle Girl (she loves sea turtles, okay?) had her birthday a few months ago.  She is very hard to please, so this had to be just what she wanted!  I think it turned out great, don't you?
I can't wait to share my January Boys' birthday cakes with you soon!
